INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES Flooring. Lighting. Furniture. Fabrics. Fixtures. Hardware. With so many products and options available in today’s interior design market, it is sometimes difficult to determine what suits YOU. Aline Architecture, Inc. can help you identify, research and creatively resolve design issues in order to create a functional and quality interior environment. Deciding to change or add onto your interior space, although exciting, can be intimidating. Your house is an extension of you, and the design of your home should reflect and fulfill your personal vision. We can help accomplish this goal by providing assistance in every phase of a design project, using conceptual planning and aesthetic and technical solutions to create interiors that are not only practical, but also provide comfort, security and beauty. Aline Architecture, Inc. can simply point you in the right direction or help you to transform your interior space from concept to creation. Our services include consultation to help determine project goals and objectives, generating ideas for the functional and aesthetic possibilities of the space, creating illustrations and renderings, working in compliance with applicable building and safety codes, monitoring and managing construction and installation of design, providing design resources, selecting and purchasing fixtures, furnishings, products, and materials, and designing and managing fabrication of custom furnishings and interior details. Aline Architecture, Inc. provides an initial complimentary consultation in order to discuss the nature of your project. Services are billed hourly thereafter.

Landscape Design & Installation Services No building looks complete until it is integrated with its site. The placement of a building on a site demands a careful consideration of the dynamic variables that give the site its unique qualities: the path of the sun, the prevailing winds, the location of critical vegetation and other natural elements, view potential within and beyond the site, the impact of neighboring buildings, topography, soil conditions and site access. Aline Architecture, Inc. is expanding the services offered to our clients, to include landscape design and installation of all design elements. We have always been sensitive to the creation of outdoor spaces and the integration of the man-made environment with the natural. We are now collaborating with a landscape architect to broaden our understanding of plant materials and other natural elements in order to achieve a greater synthesis between the building and the landscape or streetscape. We believe that a design project always involves the resolution of the interior and exterior spaces so that there is a seamless interplay between the two. Environmental Consultancy and Site Mitigation Development of any kind can have a profoundly negative impact on the sensitive eco systems on Cape Cod. We have learned a great deal about designing with nature over the past few decades, but there is still so much to learn about maintaining the equilibrium of the natural systems when you begin to alter the terrain, the hydrology and the percentage of vegetation. We are fortunate to have an environmental consultant on board who has a profound knowledge of the sensitive natural environments on Cape Cod and has a comprehensive understanding of the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act and the By-Laws established in each township to further protect resource areas. We are committed to promoting the health and sustainability of all natural systems on any site with which we are involved. We identify all resource areas and establish strict protocols for contractors to follow in all stages of construction. This ensures that mitigations are in place to protect the site during construction and during the period of re-growth. Our expanded multidisciplinary practice allows us to take on a wider variety of projects and ensures a seamless connectivity between the different parameters of the design work.

In short, we take care of all your needs. We are confident you will be very pleased with our work. CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SERVICES Experienced builders are well aware of the challenges of construction today. Rising material and labor costs have forced builders to seek multiple estimates for the lowest price and estimating has become time consuming and a bit frightening. Customers need a builder’s time and attention to details on-site, but they also need constant communication and information about the project. After working a full day, builders may faced with reporting to owners, bill paying and project accounting as well as scheduling sub-contractors and ordering materials, often stretching their workday from daylight into darkness. Aline Architecture, Inc. we offer services to help builders shorten their workday. In addition to our architectural design and in-house construction services, we provide contract management services to local builders. With just one meeting per week the following services are provided:
  • Prepare building contracts and cover letters, format estimates and package plans and specifications, etc.
  • Prepare a weekly progress report for each project and email or mail it to the owner(s) - review work completed on the project during the previous week and work planned for the current week and following week
  • Create a cash flow report for each project - review all paid invoices for the past week, copy the invoices for the owner(s), review labor and break it down into budget categories and track all the paid expenses and income received on the cash flow report (Excel spreadsheet) - new expenses are anticipated for the next two weeks and entered into the new cash required portion of the report - account for all cash received and deliver progress payments to the builder
  • Mail all reports (progress report-weekly/cash flow-bi-weekly) to owner(s) along with copies of all paid invoices for the period with a copy of reports sent to the builder as well
  • Provide on-going, general assistance in scheduling subcontractors, debris removal, materials delivery, etc. as needed to ease the process
Timely information, communication and thorough documentation are essential elements in a successful project. By selecting a builder that provides these services all aspects of the project will be properly recorded.
