Anna Jankowicz
Senior Architectural Designer

nna Jankowiczgrew up in the 1000 year-old medieval city of Gdansk, Poland. After finishing high school she attended the School of Engineering and Architecture. Between 2001 and 2007 Anna completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Gdansk University of Technology. During college Anna worked for several architectural offices and among her projects she worked on creating construction documentation for buildings in the historic district of Gdansk which were rapidly reconstructed after World War II.

Anna first came to Cape Cod in 2005 on a “Work and Travel” visa. The lower Cape was her choice of destination because of childhood memories of the Hel Peninsula of northern Poland. During her initial 2007 search for architectural work on Cape Cod Anna became fascinated about the original work of Architects Studio Ltd., which would soon to become Aline Architecture. Meanwhile she worked for two other lower cape architects, completed her own architectural projects, and done site work on environmentally sensitive building sites of lower Cape Cod: environmental sensitivity being a focal point of Aline Architecture’s work.

Anna joined Aline Architecture in December 2010. Architectural design, construction documentation and three dimensional model building are among her responsibilities. Throughout this work Anna is progressing through the NCARB Internship Development Program which is the standard accepted means of completing the experience requirements for architectural licensing in most US jurisdictions.

In her free time on Cape Cod, Anna has pursued a passion for dance. She also spends time involved in computer logistics of research on fin whales in the waters around Cape Cod.
