Brandon was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduating from the University of Oregon in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture he traveled to Cape Cod to design and build a garden for his martial arts teacher. The success of this garden led to new clients and he ended up staying on Cape Cod to start his own landscape design/build company and run a martial arts studio.
As a landscape designer and builder, Brandon understands how to create functional and beautiful spaces that delight his clients. His strong design background is balanced by a deep understanding of construction methodology. With residential and commercial projects throughout the United States and internationally, he has developed a wide breadth of plant knowledge and has experience in a range of design aesthetics. Brandon has also lead tours to Kyoto to share his love for Japanese gardens—what he considers to be some of the most spectacular gardens in the world.
Brandon began working in conjunction with Aline Architecture (at the time Architects Studio) in 2005. He designed and managed all landscape projects for Aline Architecture, ensuring the unique buildings were complemented by thoughtful, tailored landscapes. Brandon currently lives in Connecticut and works with Aline Architecture as a consultant.
